Climeworks
Climeworks permanently removes CO2 from the air, thereby enabling everybody to reverse climate change.
The CO2 filtered out of the air by Climeworks can be used in two ways: either it is stored safely and permanently underground for millions of years. Or it is further processed into climate-compatible products, such as CO2-neutral fuels and materials.
The Climeworks Direct Air Capture technology uses only renewable energy and the modular CO2 collectors can be combined into machines of any size.
Climeworks was founded by engineers Christoph Gebald and Jan Wurzbacher. Its aim is to inspire one billion people to take action and remove CO2 from the air.
