Water Conservation Animated Movie
Be part of the development of an animated movie that tackles the challenges of water conservation in Switzerland
What is it about?
The project is to create an engaging, educational, and visually appealing animated movie that emphasizes the importance of water conservation in Switzerland by Summer 2024. It aims to deliver a clear message by employing well-researched information and leveraging effective communication and design techniques.
The Team Leader
Camille is a freelance graphic designer based in Basel, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Knowledge Visualization at ZHdK. Through this project, she aims to create awareness about the importance of biodiversity in Swiss water bodies and generate positive environmental impacts. She wishes to contribute to the daunting issue of climate change, and believes that collective efforts can achieve more than individual endeavors.
The goal of this team?
The team will work together on several tasks, including:
- Defining the topic framework and script
- Developing a storyboard
- Conducting research on layout & design (e.g. based on the theory of "processing fluency" according to Darren Bridger)
- Production and postproduction, sound, editing, final adjustments to the video.
- Developing an effective communication strategy adapted to the target group.
Needed competences
You are interested in visual & auditory aspects of the project and/or developing the content and strategy for the animated movie (e.g. research, scriptwriting, communication, ensuring the accuracy and educational value).
